  • What is Get It Made?

    Get It Made is a first-of-its-kind production-based platform that provides emerging screenwriters direct access to film and television industry professionals to develop and package their screenplays, including a production-viable proof of concept for Hollywood studios and streamers.

    Screenwriters with a feature film or TV pilot screenplay are guided every step of the way with in-house story strategists and producers.

  • Who do we collaborate with?

    Get It Made works with industry experts that lead key departments in the Film and Television industry (e.g. Directors, Producers, Showrunners, Cinematographers, Screenwriters, Actors, etc.).

    This production-based mentorship is intentional to provide members a holistic view of production viability of a screenplay.

    We have a roster of resident Industry Professionals as well as featured mentors that rotate frequently. Since we collaborate with filmmakers and producers in the business, availability is fluid and varies due to production schedules.

  • How does it work?

    Membership dues are paid quarterly (90-days) or annually.

    Writers embark on an exclusive personalized screenplay readiness journey, guided by industry experts, in-house producers, and AI-powered tools that optimize and create entire pitch packages, including financial projections, pitch decks, coverage, and more.

    Projects circulate through an exclusive development and feedback loop that we call “GIMx3”.

    GIMx3 consists of (monthly):

    • Producer reviews w/ score + feedback

    • One-on-One Producer check-ins

    • Peer-Review Partnerships

    Membership benefits:

    • Mastery of crafting the ultimate screenplay package as a proof of concept

    Circulating scripts in the GIMx3 feedback loop is an essential tool for screenwriters to know how they're doing and what they need to do to get closer to production viability.

    Contradictory notes from different sources can get frustrating and confusing. A screenwriter knows they are on the right track when they get the same note from multiple different sources. That’s why GIMx3 was created.

  • How do I Join?

    Admittance is granted solely by application.

    During the 30-day application review, prospective screenwriters explore the membership program, connect with Producers, Industry Professionals and Peers — Plus, a dedicated support team every step of the way.

    Consideration for membership concludes with a final interview with Executive Producers of Get It Made

  • Eligibility

    To become a member, you must have completed the following:

    • Submit a writing sample (Feature or Pilot screenplay) as part of the application process

    • Screenplays with coverage from notable organizations are prioritized

    • Review and agree to the Terms & Conditions

    • Be ready to… take action, build your portfolio and elevate it to industry standards

  • Membership Commitments

    • Be willing to receive constructive criticism, suggestions, and feedback

    • Maintain respectful etiquette and professionalism at all times

    • Be willing to provide script feedback via Peer-Review Partnerships with another member of the GIM community (at least 1 time per month)

  • How much does it cost?

    If accepted, membership is $99/month for eligible screenwriters and commitment is on a quarterly (90-days) or annual basis.

    Discounts available for students, referrals and Annual memberships.

  • Once you click Subscribe, you’ll be taken to Express Checkout, where you can confirm the order. You’ll then be prompted to log in or create a new Customer Account.

    After the order processes, you’ll receive an Order Confirmed email with your subscription details and information about how to manage your settings.

    The credit card you entered at checkout will be saved to your Customer Account, and future renewal orders will be placed automatically.

  • Notification via email which includes a link to update your billing information. The charge is attempted again after five days, and then for a final time five days after that. If the payment fails for a third time, the membership is canceled.

  • Yes, renewals can be skipped before their renewal period - which is every quarter, or annually.

  • Yes, membership can be paused with written notice to gimx@getitmade.la. All membership dues are recorded and archived. Once on pause, the member is ineligible for current production competitions until membership dues are active and resumes.

  • No. Members do not receive a notification before their subscription renewal date. An order confirmation email is sent once the subscription renews.

  • You can cancel your Get It Made X subscriptions at any time. However, we do not issue any refunds.

  • Yes, you can - but if the program is full, you will join the waitlist.

  • All subscriptions are non-refundable, regardless of subscription type billing cycle (Annual or Quarterly).
