It’s a full-circle moment: Sean believed in GET IT MADE from the beginning—joining one of our first Industry Pro panels and championing the power of independent filmmaking. Today, he and Samantha continue that support by helping us bring PLIGHT to the screen.
PLIGHT is our inaugural feature film, written and produced by GET IT MADE member Ron Sandoval. We supported him from script refinement through production, helping bring his vision to life.
We’re honored to have Sean and Sam moderate the Q&A at our very first screening—a night that celebrates bold storytelling, authentic voices, and the future of indie filmmaking.
We hosted the first screening of PLIGHT in Los Angeles, followed by Q&A led by Sean Baker and Samantha Quan (Anora, The Florida Project, Red Rocket ) alongside the cast and producers.

A Proof of Concept (PoC) is a short, polished package, usually under 10 pages that shows your project has legs. It includes a key scene, lookbook, logline, and other marketable elements that help producers quickly understand the tone, scope, and potential of your full-length film or series.
